2020 got off to a really rough start for pretty much everyone around the world. The pandemic did not only disrupt the social aspects of our lives, affect world economies but also robbed us all of our liberties. At times like these we are forced to take a step back and appreciate the things we do have, the ones we love and fortunately are now able to spend way more time with. I spent a lovely evening with Sophia and Chase as we traversed the city of DC making long lasting memories. I had a great time connecting with this lovely couple and truly value the time we g0t to spend together. Here are a few of my favorites from their Washington DC engagement session.
Whitney + Kenji - A Washington DC Engagement Session || DMV Wedding Photographers
As I get older, I have started to realize the importance of human connection. Connection between a parent and their child, connection between two people in love, connection between a photographer and their clients. Life is really all about these little pockets of human connection. We do everything we do just to end up connecting with someone. I am truly honored to have some of the greatest humans as clients, not great because of their personal accomplishments but great because of the simple value they bring in those brief moments of human connection. Here are a few of my favorites from the 2 hrs I spent connecting with Whitney and Kenji.
