It's was a nice Friday morning. The bride, groom and I showed up in our unplanned matching outfits and I pretty much knew it would be a good day. These two decided to do a little something special for themselves prior to the grand fiesta in April. It was really intimate and warm. I was honored to be in attendance and able to play my role in documenting it. Here are a few of the images from their special day.
IT WAS COOOOOOLLLLDDD!!!! What's that old saying? When life gives you lemons you make lemonade? Well I'd like to think this was the coldest day of the year so far, not only did we have to deal with the temperature, we were also facing 20mph wind gusts which only made it colder. Once I sawthe obstacles we were facing, I knew it was going to be a good day. Jade and Wil came ready to play. We met up and the US National Arboretum and just made beautiful music together. How time flies, it was like just yesterday when Temi and I lived in the gym and I would talk about how I decided to start taking photos. Between sets I would pull out my phone with new photos I had taken and talk about the progress I had made and the goals I had set. Fast forward a few years and I'm he and his new wife's wedding photographer. This was probably one of the most enjoyable weddings I have been a part of this year. Not only were Jamie and Temi easy to work with, it was fun working with them. After I photographed their engagement session I knew it would be a breeze simply because of the chemistry they share on and off camera. Here are a few of my favorites from their wedding day!
