Shari and Darrell are one of my favorite couples of all time, their chemistry is electrifying, their bond is strengthened through a deep friendship that stems from their first day of orientation at UMD, the very first day they met. They remained good friends throughout college and only started dating after Shari returned from Law school but being around them I could tell they were definitely meant for each other and I think they both agree. For their session they decided to take it back to where it all began, a place that not only allowed them to meet but foster this great friendship that is the foundation of their relationship. I can’t wait to photograph their wedding next year on “you guess it!” the UMD Campus! Here are some of my favorite photos from their pre wedding session.
Exposed: A Creative Portrait Photography Workshop || Washington DC Wedding Photographer
Exposed is a creative portrait photography workshop that I recently put together, I had a mini version (one on one) with a wedding Photographer out of Orlando, Florida. In Exposed I basically "expose" everything about my process: My techniques, my approach, what I look for in a scene, post processing and so on. We also do a live shoot where I give a demonstration of how I approach my compositions and lighting. Here are a few images from the live shoot. Thank you Robeya and Terrance for being our models for the day.
