I had a great time getting to know these two. Ijeoma showed up looking so elegant and George came through in the 808's and Heartbreak Kanye West swag. Lucky for him that's my favorite Kanye West album so it served as some level of inspiration for their shoot even if it was subliminal :) . We met up in Georgetown DC and just walked around, talked and created. It was great. Here are some of my favorites from their session.
Sabreet + Arun - A Surprise Proposal at the Howard Peters Rawlings Conservatory and Botanic Gardens of Baltimore || Baltimore Wedding Photographers
It's always nice to see new and interesting ways people come up with for proposals. Arun gathered his and Sabreet's closest friends and family to assist with his proposal. He handed everyone a Photograph, each one a signifiant memory in their relationship. As she made her way through the stations, she was handed a photograph and read the associated caption. Once she made her way to Arun, the rest was history.
Laura + Eric - An Engagement Session in Mt Vernon Square || Washington DC Wedding Photographers
Lots of times engagement sessions serve as the ice breaker, lets you get acquainted with the couple. Allows you to work out the kinks prior to their wedding. But sometimes it just serves as a good ol time hanging out with two new friends and that is exactly what this felt like. There was no ice to break, not kinks to work out because we all just meshed perfectly, we really were just hanging out and making photos. Here are a few of my favorites from Laura and Eric's engagement session.
