With Love from Budapest - Sent from My iPhone
In the summer of 2013 I visited London for a wedding, one of my very close friends decided he was finally ready for the old ball and chain. We decided to spend a night in Budapest, Hungary celebrating his final days as a bachelor.
Budapest is a very pretty city, filled with charm, character and historic architecture, not to mention beautiful people, good food and great weather. Armed with only an iPhone 5 and a couple of hours to kill before having to head back to the airport, we walked around the city on foot and I was able to take a few shots.
This shot was taken from a window in the hallway of the art'otel, a charming modern/minimalist hotel on the Buda side of Budapest. In the distance you can see the Mátyás Templom (Matthias Church).
I took this shot from my tiny little hotel room balcony, you can see the parliament building in Pest on the other side of the Danube river.
The Buda Castle emerging from the background.
Standing on the famous Chain Bridge, that connects Buda and Pest.
The Buda Castle.
Cheers!
