Colleen and Adam are all about family, they wanted nothing more than to spend most of their time engaging with their guests - friends and family during the course of their day. It was no surprise to see all the emotions flowing through the room during their ceremony and the epic turn up that followed at their reception. I remember wondering during Michia and Collins's engagement session late last year what it would be like to photograph them on their wedding day. Both Michia and Collins were extremely laid back and that really set the tone for their wedding. I loved every moment of documenting these two, their day was filled with a ton of emotions and was just an all around good time. We started off our day at Hotel Monaco in Baltimore and rounded things up at The Belvedere. Here is a snippet on how their special day unfolded.
Sooooooooooo where do I begin. I will like to start by saying this was the greatest workout I have ever gotten, the day started at 8am Saturday and ended shortly after 12am Sunday. This wedding was filled with the sights, sounds and delicious smells of Eritrean culture. It's always a refreshing experience to partake in the actives of people of a culture different than your own. To learn about them and share in their happiness. To learn how they do things and see how they view the world. I got a crash course in "How To Get Married Habesha Style" and man was it awesome.
