In The Year Two Thousand & Fourteen..... || Best Wedding Photographers in Washington DC

2014 has been a great year for me, it's been filled with exponential growth, lots of hardwork, perseverance and continuous dwelling outside of my comfort zone. I have learned more about myself this year than any combination of years before it. I have worked with exceptional clients and have created some of the best imagery I've ever created in my life. And for all this I am very grateful. Here is a brief recap of some of my favorite photos of the year. They include weddings, portraiture, street photography, events and travel. Can't wait to see what 2015 has in store for all of us!

Shaun + Tosin - A Landsdowne Resort Wedding|| Virginia Wedding Photographers

This is a special one, it goes back to my very first paid job. Tosin was my first client, I photographed his 30th birthday party and once he received his photos, he booked his wedding. The one thing I remember him saying was go and practice, seeing how at that time I had only professionally shot his party. Well I have had quite a bit of practice since then and I have brought almost everything I've learned to this wedding.

The day started off pretty eventful, it rained all morning and being an outdoor wedding we prepared for the worst. As time passed the clouds cleared, the downpour seized and things started to look promising. Oh! and how promising they were.

Shaun and Tosin were great to work with, they made the photography component of their wedding a huge priority and that made things run smoothly for me. Here is their fabulous wedding story.

Nneoma + Ralph - A Michigan Wedding

I have to say this was one of the greatest experiences I have had photographing any event. I had not met Nneoma or Ralph till the afternoon of the traditional wedding but had been in contact with Nneoma's sister Adaobi. Adaobi's personality should have set the tone for what was to come. These guys were CRAZY FUN! within seconds of meeting them, all the initial awkwardness was out the door, I felt like I had known them for years and it made the process of capturing their special day very intimate. Here are a few shots from the day.
