I've lived in the DMV for over over 12yrs and have visited DC so many times but never really paid attention to it's history and monuments. We decided to make a day of it and take a 9hr crash course tour of DC. We started off at the Capitol building, headed over to the Library of Congress, moved to the Air and Space Museum, the white house, the National World War II Memorial, and finally Martin Luther King memorial. It was a great experience and we made some little friends along the way. Here are a few pics from the day.
